North Sound Gourd Patch

We are a group of gourd crafters and artists who meet in friendship to share, support, and encourage. Our mission is to share, learn and inspire the world of gourd art.

Meetings consist of sharing finished pieces, books and magazines, demo’s, tips and techniques, and much, much more! Many of our hobbies and interests expand outside of the unique world of gourds, so there is a wealth of knowledge to share. Bring your current gourd project to work on during our get-together.

The Patch meetings are now at my house (Patty Burke) on the 2nd Sat. of the month, 10:00 am. $3.00 fee to go into the Patch treasury for future expenses.

There is informal gourd class, no designated instructor, held on Tuesday mornings at the Marysville Sr. Center. Attendees work on individual projects and share expertise and experience. $5.00 fee to the Sr. Center. Check with Kate Franchimon or Evie Scribner or Frankie Howland if additional information is needed.

1 May 2010, Here in this picture are five of the six of us who met at my house on Sat. (1 May 2010) as part of the North Sound Patch. Alana Riviera, Diane Frederick, Frankie Howland, Patty Burke, Toni Davenport. The next Saturday North Sound Patch Meeting will be on the 3rd Saturday in June, the 19th, 10:00 AM at Patty's home. Come and stay as long as you like. Bring your lunch and a project, questions and/or show and tell. This is also taken in my shop, which you can't see very well in this picture. Patty
