WSGS 2025 Gourd Retreat
Save the Dates! JULY 16-18, 2025 Last year's Retreat was such a success that the planning stages are in full swing for the next one! The Washington State Gourd Society will be hosting our Second Annual Gourd Retreat. Come play in the foothills of Mt. Rainier in the community of Mineral Lake. Here the wildlife is bountiful, the landscape breathtaking and fabulous views of Mt. Rainier a plenty. The event will be held at the Historic Mineral Lake Lodge Conference Center. Mineral Lake Lodge was originally built in 1906 as a high-brow wilderness retreat for the fiscal elite of Seattle and Tacoma and is now hosting gourd enthusiasts for a retreat like no other. Overlooking beautiful Mineral Lake, the 3 ½ acre site has 215 feet of pristine, private waterfront. At the end of the day, one can enjoy a campfire down at the lakeshore - wood and s’mores makings are provided. While you are here you may wish to take in the experience of visiting Mt. Rainier National Park right in our backyard.
The retreat is set for JULY 16th - 18th, 2025 (The dates were changed due to Welburn Gourd Farm having a Festival at the same time.)
